My fuel pump stopped working at the weekend so car wouldn't go.
I have disconnected from under back seat, and put battery directly onto pump, and it still doesn't want to know.
Can anyone recommend a good replacement for a 1984 fb?
I have found this one on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360613057216? ... 1423.l2649
Is it a good replacement, or are there better makes out there?
Thanks.

Re: Fuel pump options?
I ran one of my 12As on something like this. You just need a low pressure electric pump that suits a carb.cub123 wrote:Ok thanks.
Bit of modding required I see.
You have experience with one?
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

That pump has been marketed under many different brands -- Facet, Purolator, etc. -- in the US. Since they were a cheap and plentiful alternative, many people used them. The quality, however, has been spotty. If you're concerned about reliability, I'd choose a different pump.
