hi... i am new to this forum and also rotary engines. i am a very young enthusiast. i would have never gained an interest in rotaries untill i saw my fb and it stole my heart.
it just so happened he had 2 and was badly wanting to get rid of them as they were in his way so i got them at a steal of $700 for the pair.
they were both s3 and the one i am selling is a se 13b car. the one i am keeping is a 12a gsl car.the one i am keeping is in a worse condition but it runs. although it does not run right yet .i am still working out kinks in the carb. the other is locked up.
that is all i have to share at the moment .i will keep you updated as i make progress in my projects

Hi, and welcome to the forum. By the model designations and that I'm guessing you're in the States? Not wishing to seem dim, but that one in the top photo is a Series 2 isn't it? They both look good from here, but I think an FB always suits white... and photos can hide a multitude of sins. Look forward to a build thread

Yes, Hi tj,
I thought the same as Nik above. The top car has 13" series 2 wheels Yeh? ........Whereas the bottom car has 14" S3 wheels?
Anyway, welcome to our merry band.

Re: new user
US didn't have such clear model designations.
They are both built 84/85 but it's best to think of them as Series 2.5 and 3.5
The interior for example is different to our Series 2 and 3 so from the inside you wouldn't necessarily know which you were in.
