small accident

Post by richrx »

Hey

While I was working away on my rx today I managed to drop the battery onto the front wing :(

Gutted is an understatement. ...

Whats the best fix for this damage?

Is the s1/2/3 wing the same? Green cars seem fairly rare... I'll keep my eye out!

A decent panel beater should be able to get that out.

A good dent repairer, paintless dent repair? Bound to be a good company that could sort that for you, it's annoying I know when you get a dent which is really awkward but I would say they'd be able to smooth it out as they use bars to massage the dents out and get it back to as close as possible.

chin up, not the end of the world, you'll get it fixed :)

A good pdr man will get that perfect for you. Do a bit of a local search, and check for reviews. I've seen some really poor jobs, and some that are absolutely flawless.
I use Dent Rewind, Paul there is spot on, takes as much pride in his work as I do, and I like that...shame you're not closer, but I'm sure you'll find somewhere that will do it. Prices here would be £70 - £90 for that, if you get offered a £20 job, walk away...

i would agree with marc and spend the money and get it done right.
it's a specialist art using the bars to massage the dents out and takes time, would it be too far away to go see the guy marc knows?

Thanks for the advice,

Ive found 2 mobile companies so far that are recommended for dent repairs, ive sent one an email and I'll see what his reply is. I'm a bit more up beat about it today, hoping it will be sorted as good as now :)

Spoddy, I think Glasgow to sussex is a bit far, especially now the engine is just about removed :)

I dont think I can complain at less that 100 quid if its fixed as new!

Www.sldentrepair.co.uk is my first avenue
