Post by re japi »

Here is a few pics from my brothers autocross car. In that series, start is everything. So the car is build that in mind. Lots of weight is transfered at the back, to get maximum grip...

Wow, you don't see a NA PP REW motor every day. Can I ask who built it?

That's a pretty serious project.

I was about to say something stupid and obvious like "that's peripherally ported isn't it?" but apparently it is  Awesome. Must be a bit lively 8-)

That rollcage is quite a piece of work, too. What kind of suspensions does it run?

lol. Presumably it's got some in there by now :P ? The blank spaces where shock-tops should be was my reason for asking, y'see

Its a Hayward engine. My brother said to Carl that he basically had free hands to do what he want. Focus was in max torgue and large rev range, not max power.

Almost everything in that rollcage was build by my brother. It was a big job. Also, fitting FD´s diff frame to FB`s frame was big job...

Rear coilovers are custom made here in company called Bigem. They are spezialiced on custom stuff like that. Those coilovers are based on Fd´s shocks and FB´s corner weights.
Front suspension is built by my brother and uses snowmobiles coilovers :)
