Hmmmmm......I only know 4 LHD series 1's and one of them is thine Timmy old buddy.

The other three are Beige/Yellow, Renaissance Red (he'll never sell that?) and the Silver/Black Lenham car with the big 'Z'.

Is it one of them or A NEW SPOT? I'm wetting myself thinking about it.

Right, welL I am just back from seeing the yellow, 1978 car and it really is a cracker. It has a really nice engine, Weber, trick exhaust etc and about 220bhp. Whilst the paint is a little tired, the whole shell is in extremely good, rust free condition. The saddest thing is that it is just out of my budget. I've just sat and done the numbers and sadly I wouldn't be able to offer its worth. If anyone is interested though, I'd be happy to pass details.

The seller knows his FB's and has all the OE parts, if someone wanted to remove the uprated suspension, brakes etc? I cannot stress just how solid this shell is and what a lovely example it would be, with a fresh coat of paint.

Aye, tis the one on my list above. It was an import from USA (California) hence minimal rust.

I'd love it, if I could afford it. It sounded great and just looks right. Obviously nice and solid too.

Jon Newman''s car. Proper thing too and a nice guy. I bought some suspension bits from him a while back. He has a RX3 sedan as well so properly rotored up. 8-)

I reckon you'll be much happier with a S3.

Parts are easier to get, including wheels and brake parts, as well as go fast bits and upgrade parts.

My 2p.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Hi guys, sorry not posted for a while. I've been busy getting my old BM's finished.

I'm still searching for an FB though. (any cars you know of?)
