my windows keep coming out of the runners please help!

hi has anyone had the same problem? @ first i thought it was the screws holding the window in place that were loose but they r really tight & the frame its screwed to slide back & forth about 5mm is that normal? & its stopping the windows going up & down which is a nightmare! any help would b great cheers mick

Did you ever sort that glass problem out man? Mine is doing it? Thanks Dave

I had the Same problem on my Car And only thing i had to do was adjust the slides on the sides they can't be set too tight tough because otherwise the Window won't go up or Down anymore.

I had that same problem with mine too. Did not find a real solution for this around here, i tried to figure out what goes wrong in the first place. There it seems that it is always the top front is the one that pops out of the runner, i had to look closely over there. I have a few spare guidances, the detachables ones at the front of the door and had a go at this. I drilled out the spot welds on the bracket, filed out the holes so i could make these adjustable with a couple of M4 countersunk bolts and nuts. By pulling the runner more to the inside, the glass is guided more outwards on the top and stays in where it is supposed to be. Result i guess. Image Image
