Future first generation owner and new member

Post by mrey442 »

Hello all, My name is Mason, I'm currently an owner of a 1993 Honda Civic which I hate and am desperately trying to get rid of to buy my first RX7. One of my friends introduced me to the first gens and I fell in love, so I'm frantically trying to get rid of my civic so I can afford an RX7. Things I love about the first generation is that no-one in my area(Philadelphia PA) has one, as well as rotary. I feel like you can do a lot to them and make them very unique to yourself. Thanks for letting me join the forum, for the next few weeks while I sell my car I'm going to read around on the forum so when I actually get my RX7 I won't ask dumb questions that were previously asked. I hope to learn a lot and have fun on this form after being welcomed in such a warm way!!!

Welcome :)

Don't worry about dumb questions...I ask them all the time

You won't regret going from the civic to the 1st gen, these are really well balanced and nice to drive, and hey, just rotary :D

We all ask dumb questions I'm bound to ask one! And I know I can't wait to get rid of this civic and be part of the rotary family!

Hey Mason, I just joined myself and am located in the US as well (Texas). Good luck on your sale and future purchase. I have an 82 that I just picked up last Sunday and had an FC prior to... the FC was nice but love the FB so much more. Now I have my sights on a second one I saw it at the local pick and pull completely intact RHD drive Savanna lots of old school mods but they guy and the yard only wanted to sell the drive train???? Hoping he's not planning to and I can save it from a V8 mod....

Good luck to you
