how heavy is the std bonnet??

This is just a wild guess Mick, having moved one around in my garage but not recently. Trouble is you have to span it and carry it on chest muscles (that I had 40 years back but now seem to have gone)......

So it's probably deceptive and may be lighter:

30 to 40 kg........??????anyone else??

the steel T2 bonnets were 25kg so I would have thought the fb would b about 15kg?? I`ll weigh it after I swap it for my 2kg fibre glass bonnet.

just weighed it yesterday 15kg after I replaced it with my new fibre glass bonnet which weighs 2kg!

it just looks like the std bonnet @ the mo, I might add a T2 style scoop & vents to keep it cool for when I go turbo! but its quite flimsy 3mm thick with a cross bracing as it was made for a track car so needed aerocatch & some locking pins to hold it down as it doesn't even come with bonnet latch.
