well if you don't have to sell the mx3 then don't, as the az3 variation can be rare.
only me and marco that i know of have az3's in the north.

finally getting mine back on the road, just need to get front brakes done and injector seals replaced, tune up
then ready for the road again, yippee.

the fb is looking really good, like the wheel combination. i tend to like keeping a car as original as possible
but do like seeing cars like the fb with modern alloys and minor updates to the body.

Haven't updated this in a long time!

On the Sunday of last years Baltinglass rally, my clutch decided it was sick of abuse and packed its bags...




Which meant, I could buy a 6-puk



And back on the road for RetroStock

Rare as GSL-SE front cover to make the mounting that much easier.

Still need to lob all this together and get it into the RX-7. Still a few more bits to get, like rad, oil cooler, fuel pump and gilmer pulley. Here's where we are at the minute, with the sump, front cover etc fitted. Need to pick up a new waterpump and thermostat next

I was hoping to get the 13b in before the National Rotary Meet this year, but I actually moved to Switzerland in April, so I don't know if that is going to happen! Besides that, plans include an adjustable watts linkage and maybe T3 coilovers. I'm on the fence about that at the minute though.

Didn't see a sump in all that lot - I presume you got the gslse one though? 12a pickup is needed to match it too.

FYI the 12a front cover works perfectly well.

Cheers dude. Yep, got the GSL sump a good while ago for it, its all fitted and looking lovely

I want to put the 12a into something else so didn't want to sacrifice the front cover for this

Ha, yeah, its YEAR - COUNTY - NUMBER, but imports start off at 11000 for pre-90s I think, and 120000 for later years! The plates get pretty ugly!

If you are going to all this trouble bud, maybe source a series 4 gearbox as well? Slightly newer, slightly stronger and better ratios 1,2 and 3. Some debate about the 5th gear ratio being either much taller for better economy or the same as stock depending on what you read on the net. I can't confirm until I got my car running either way but the shorter gearing lower down would be worth it regardless.

Swap the rear half of the s3 box on to keep the mounting the same, standard tail shaft amd clutch also is fine.
