Well, I just spent pretty much the entire week getting loads of bits done on the car so it was all ready for the great engine swap. Got everything just so, driving round to Super 7 to drop the car off... spotty youth in Vauxhall Corsa pulls out of sidestreet without looking, smashes into me, mutilates offside front wing, Elford bumper, front valance, and pushes the wheel right back so it's touching the rear of the arch

Now I'm going to go and get pissed

Well as expressed with diplomatic grace on Exile, that is a total nutsack and rest assured we have plenty of bits between us to get it straight. Lets hope the damage is only skin deep...

sorry to hear that mate. Once you've taken stock of the damage in the clear light of day you should post a list of the parts you need.

Sorry to hear this Nik.

Hope you get a good repairer.
Gus had a bump to a front wing in 1998. Total super repair carried out by the local Mazda body shop. New wing, bumper, front nose.
So good we don't remember it really, until something like your accident reminds us.

Bad luck, Lucky :?

Hopefully it's not too bad once you sober up. Put up some pics when the shakes stop.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......
