Looking good - the mod to the gearbox to get the shifter in the right position is fairly straightforward. You are basically mounting the shaft housing forward a set of holes so means cutting the selector shaft, redrilling the pin hole and cutting of unwanted metal from the housing. Took us about an hour including the usual talking too much while working. Takes around 100mm off....

Cheers for the info Chud!

Two and a half weeks later and still loving the 13b. Throttle started sticking a bit on the way up to C&C at the weekend, nothing a bit of WD40 won't sort out. It also threatens to induce heart attacks on anyone elderly who may stand near it when it turns off and backfires, as some folk at C&C can attest to :-p

Not sure whats next for it. I've a set of sports springs on it, but want it stiffer, so a set of Tokico Illumina struts might do the trick. I'm tempted to go all out on coilovers, but I'm not sure the outlay will offer much more than the struts will. Obviously I could put it on its arse if I did go for coilovers, but roads around here aren't very forgiving :D Other than that, I should probably get an e-fan for it and a gilmer pulley. It's all money though! I need to get my MK3s refurbed too!

And I'll leave yas with a cool shot of my FB and an FD at C&C.

I haven't done much with the FB since the engine swap, apart from drive and enjoy it :)

Retro Classics magazine did a small piece on it at the start of the Summer and made it into the magazine this month.

Few shots from the shoot, got plenty more :-p

Thanks guys. I'll scan the article later, but its more of a brief history of Mazda and rotaries than anything to do with the car to be honest! The photos just accompany the piece. Guys here don't really know much about rotaries anyway!

I'll send on some pics to Chud for sure :)
