The Golf is running a Hayward bridgeport RX4 style 13B. It wouldn't idle and he was blaming a blocked idle jet.
Hydraulic suspension. Had a bit of a chat with him.
The Montrose is what they call Bosozoku style. Not seen that outside of Japan.
Not everyone's cup if tea admittedly.
What a great day all round, great to finally meet up with people and see a fine collection of cars. Well done to everybody for a great turn out of awesome cars and thanks to Ian and Tool for organizing passes, sorry if we didn't speak to everybody but im absolutely shite with faces and remembering who is who.
With such a good turn out here's to hoping we can build on this and get these cars out there and in the faces of mere mortals and teach them in the ways of the black art of the rotary.
Well done everyone.
Some great pics there, Dave. Fox body "mustang" is essentially a Ford Taurus in a fat suit, disgusting, horrid and never deserved to wear a Mustang badge. Barely had enough grunt to get out of its own way. And to put it into some kind of "cultural" frame of reference, Vanilla Ice had a white convertible one...
By the way, where did you vanish to? One minute we were staggering up the hill, the next you'd disappeared using ninja stealth skills, never to be seen again
