lol, I don't think they want the sort of P.R. that says "Mazda Rotaries; you'll kill at least one set of plugs just trying to start the sodding things" :lol:

aha, therein lies a story...

*cough* they're not. Currently. *ahem* nothing to connect them to. :roll: Does make it a real pig to start just now. Working on a solution to this li'l conundrum

You typically don't run the vac advance (or OMP) with an IDA.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Don't see why you can't run the OMP, all it needs is a linkage. Can't really run vacc advance as the carb doesn't support it. One of the reasons I wanted a Holley in the first place. Choke would be nice, too...

can't you tap it off the manifold?

Don't know. Would it not fluctuate really profoundly then? There is a plan underway, but I won't say too much in case it turns out an epic fail. Lol

mine comes off the inlet, between the carb and the compressor, right next to the take off for the brake servo..... can't imagine yours being any different really, no turbo but same principle, just a line tapped into the inlet
