FUEL TANK VACUUM - PRESSURE (85 - S3)

Post by DKWW2000 »

Went to fill up & on undoing fuel cap it hissed & allowed air in, is this normal should the cap have a breather or is there 1 elsewhere?

They do have a breather that vents back into the filler neck :? Mine does it too, don't think it's a problem

Thanks for replies, I thought it might be restricting flow but if all do it I wont worry!

yeah all my rx7s do that & apparently theres a breather pipe from the filler neck that goes to a charcoal canister !
