S3 on ebay went for £1,270 - I was even going to bid on it but was out doing a repair on someone's computer and had to install a new router - no internet connection to make my bid Arrgghh. Still my wife was pleased. Another one appeared (Scotland?) that looks rather nice but at £3,800 seems a bit steep. C175KVW in metallic green (just like mine). I will keep my eyes out for another S3 at nearer scrap value - especially if it is a green one!

Mazda rx7 series 1 rare 1986 non turbo 12a rotary engine not many still on the road in GB! Needs some tlc.
drives ok but mot failure failed on welding underneath quote for £500 from a garage other panels and doors good condition a stress mark on bumper but obviously cheaper for someone in the know ! too good to scrap as drives and revs for fun has oil leak but again can be sorted by someone in the trade you will then have a cheap to insure classic car (£110 fully comp ) after restoration interior very good for age, and all parts working except the horn , all electric windows work sunroof works with no rust other than as stated previous, 5 mint alloys taxed to end of month, has to go as moving and will have nowhere to store her off the road. Been offered £190 scrap but a shame to do that so selling as parts or offers for the whole car. Any questions or if you want more pics please ask. All paperwrk in my name and piles of old mots and receipts and the original 1986 handbook along with 1 key.

I'd want a real good poke around underneath this car before shelling out the current asking price..... as we all know, the only was to get rid of the rust properly is to cut it all out..... interested to know whether that's happened here.

If the bottom is clean then this is a great example!

depends...... not if it's just had a bit of filler and a coat of underseal.... the cars obviously had a lot of work done to it.... I wonder if there's a photographic record of the repairs?

OK - I did know this one, it was in the Croydon area 10 years ago and it featured then in an edition of 'Rotary Ravings', with a write up about the car as I recall.
If anyone on here buys it I've still got the article......somewhere!

that's the 2nd green 1980's fb i have seen for that kind of money. it has to have no welding and one thing for us in the UK
is the amount of rust from the inside, ie inner panels. this is not something for our brothers in australia, new zealand and
the sunny all year round states in the USA and other warm climate countries.

still looks a nice example and shows the money they are now fetching. but i'd love to see pics of the areas we all worry about
in ads, as i think it would help sell them quicker.

At least it's a (slightly) more realistic price than the 28k Hayward wants for his RX-3 shell

Crickey, to my untrained eye that's one heck of a mess. But what do I know?
