'83 getting pistons
I'm having difficulty finding enthusiasm for this, but I'm making good progress on the car itself. A 3.8L V6 and T5 from a mid-'90s Camaro, a GM 7.5" rear axle for the better gearing, my own bib brake kit, and more.

I'm in Smithfield, UT, USA, and I typo'ed on the big brakes. Front rotors for a '90 Audi Coupe Quattro, 10.86" x 0.98", 4 lug. Rears should be 10.5" x 1", but not finalized yet.

Hi, welcome along. Mayan Gold, my favourite RX-7 colour! More details definitely needed.
Any particular reason for the "difficulty finding enthusiasm"?

Can't find any indications anywhere of this engine ever having gone in one of these cars before. I'm starting a thread in the other sub-forum.Hobbawobba wrote:Welcome to the forumSounds like quite a different swap to what we're used to aye. Look forward to seeing it progress

The gold is getting covered in blue. The interior is becoming gray. It's difficult running the same thread on 6 different forums, so I lose enthusiasm for all 6.Lucky wrote:Hi, welcome along. Mayan Gold, my favourite RX-7 colour! More details definitely needed.
