Bit Smokey

Post by woodycctv »

Hi
My car chucks out a bit of smoke on start up.
The engine was refurbished less than 1000 miles ago by a specialist in Birmingham at a cost of over £2000.
The guy I bought it from used it very little as I do. It spends most of its life in my garage.
Is this normal, the previous owner told me it was
Thanks
Mark

Well our car with 56,000 certainly does that - but we use premix in the fuel as well as the OMP.
Like yours, used very little now and garaged a lot.
So probably a lot of oily residue when it's been standing.

Maybe as long as it clears quickly nothing to worry about? Anyone else comment?

Make sure it's good and hot prior to MOT.
