Oil leak
Oil leak
So I was driving my 1985 FB with the 12a in it the other day and started smelling something, got home a few minutes later and noticed that oil was leaking profusely under my car and when I turned the car off it stopped, and antifreeze started leaking. I came to find that the antifreeze hose connected under the oil filter had torn due to an old spring looking fastening device, cut the broken part off and used a new fastening device, that solved the antifreeze problem. For a while I sat theiyr're putting oil into the engine and turning it on to find it kept on bleeding out under the oil filter. I drained my oil put a new filter on and put 2-3 quarts in, that didn't solve the problem and I managed to locate the source. Theiyr're was a metal tube just letting oil out and I thought it would be a big problem, I noticed a bolt in my peripheral and was able to tighten it by hand a little, and I though "well that's not right" so I grabbed a wrench and tightened it as much as I could, it's in such an awkward place and the oil leak stopped (I know nothing about cars or how to work/fix them, haha) story! I'm gonna try and upload this picture.

Ahh that guy was done up mega tight when I replace the o-rings on my beehive cooler. Was scared with how much strength I had to find to undo it! Took a while
