Engine is 3 rotor Hurley hand built race tuned using triple SU carburetors
20% less limited slip differential imported from America
Fully adjustable TOKICO suspension system
Full custom made roll cage from Safety devices Ltd
Engine braces fitted.
5 spoke compo-motive alloys
Soft compound racing tyres
Recardo 4 point harnessed seat
Only 4000 miles since engine was built!!!

Wow, Hurley really did make all sorts of weird and wonderful (this being the latter).
That eshaft wouldn't have been cheap to get made.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

he used a 3 piece E-shaft...
there's a big write up on this Hurley engine starting on page 119 of the E-book

I think he made more than one motor.
RX777 was his own car.
This may be an engine he built for a customer.

I always wondered about these engines. Is it mainly an engineering exercise or does the expense to get one running get the extra power/reliability/fuel saving, that makes it worth while?
