Wow, Hurley really did make all sorts of weird and wonderful (this being the latter).

That eshaft wouldn't have been cheap to get made.

he used a 3 piece E-shaft...

there's a big write up on this Hurley engine starting on page 119 of the E-book

the body should have a big black/red Rx-777 sticker on both sides.

I think he made more than one motor.

RX777 was his own car.

This may be an engine he built for a customer.

I've always been curious about these engines, never heard any reports about them or much on hurley.

I always wondered about these engines. Is it mainly an engineering exercise or does the expense to get one running get the extra power/reliability/fuel saving, that makes it worth while?
