Car covers

Post by DelMonte »

Anyone had any experience with car covers for their RX7?

I saw I missed out on one a while back, and can't find one specific to the FB on the web.

This one looks ok (another 25 squid buys you a heavy duty version) http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165611

Thanks.....

Mike

Used one for a good few years till I had the extension built with an integral garage. Covercraft - top quality.

You really want one made from a soft breathable material. Chaffing and damp are bad news for paintwork.

Also a tie - under cable/padlock anti theft device (theft of cover we're talking about).....but watch you have a rubberised padlock or the wind will rattle the padlock on your sills.

In very strong winds you really need to think about taking the cover off 'cos the wind can get under and rattle everything around.

Many thanks!

Spent a good amount of time after you mentioned them. Have requested a quote.
