I lived on the other side of the bridge but used to get my car serviced/tweaked at Mazsport on Ashfield st off Wairau rd. Not sure if they're still there as the bloke who set the business up and ran a couple of group C racer 7s retired
Cheers for the German website links - I liked the look of that last black 7 - good price too for the mileage. May end up living on the continent in the future so an LHD is always an option.
I had a quick look at the silver series III on ebay - but so hard to tell whether it would be sound unless you're there crawling over it to check where the metal mice have been. If I had my own man cave instead of a flat not much bigger than a birds nest I think I would have a punt on some of the fixeruppers. Maybe a weekend in London to 'see the sights'
again may be in order.
