Steering Idler Arm Bush

Post by Steve-A »

Morning Gents.

I'm after steering idler arm bushes for Rexanne, anyone know where to go? I'm also after a handbrake cable.

I got the part number off the microfiche, and tried my local Mazda dealer, but the parts guys response was 'oooh rx7s don't know much about them' 'its not on the computer' 'it doesn't go back past fc rx7s'. Without telling him how to do his job I did try to hint that it might be on microfiche as the machine sat there right behind him but he didn't take the bait.

So yeh, anyone recommend a more FB friendly dealer or an after market supplier of these?

Idler Arm bushes were about £15 FOR SERIES 3 from RoTechniks in 2005 or thereabouts. Mazda parts. Sorry, No Part No.

I would guess S2 is Same as S3

Have to agree with you on this Stu - my closest dealership didn't want to know, so I don't want to know them either and moved on.

Cool, keep us informed :) Be interested to hear if it makes the steering feel any more precise.

I bet it does with mine Steve... I've got about 2" of play in it... I doubt if I've got any bushes left? scarey handling especially on the motorway that's for sure.

Bought 2 sets about month ago cause JAZ lost hers - so bought a set for Goldie too and fitted both sets and all is fine. Oh also I got 15% discount from the deal I''d set up for the mrc members earlier this year!
