I am a little surprised to hear the NZ cars weren't fitted as standard either - I recall that all of the eastern Australian 7's I saw in the 80's had A/C standard (that was where I 1st saw the metallic Green with Brown interior coordination - I liked it)
Aussie summer tempertures are a lot higher than most places in NZ. A/C quite common on NZ market cars now (and a fair percentage of used cars are JDM imports anyway). But back in the 70's / 80's you would have been hard pressed to find A/C on most. A few had it on the options list but quite an expensive one at that
Anyway I live in hope that someday and somewhere I may find some components that compliment the blower switch. I see that Black Dragon Automotive in the US still list a major bits.....

Welcome, you have found a great forum here. Lots of questions can be answered.
Good to have another London based rotor, there are a few about now.
Hope to meet up soon. 0-0
Absolutely, where can a couple of Kiwi lads find some kiwi beer?? The car is still at Haywards. I'm heading over there tomorrow for a progress report. I think they are working on getting my steering box to feel less like a truck. V(o

Marc, I've just clicked the link to Paragon :o . When the TWR comes home from the doctors, it could do with some serious machine polishing. An hour down the road seems like a good excuse for a drive. Will do the site booking form when I get the car back.

Well YES actually. There is, of course, the most legendary Steinlager which has won SOOO many international and WORLD's BEST awards that it has been politely asked to sod off and give the rest of the world a chance  and plenty of draught and boutique type ales as well. Then again, I am secure enough in my maleness to be LagerBoy and proud of it... 0-0

Sorry Dave, no offence intended. it's just that I photo'd that poster in a local real ale pub and wanted to use it somewhere.
I like to pull legs from time to time.

And most excellent leg pulling it was Codge s(c) My first beer here all the way back in 03 was London Pride, now not sure where that is on the acceptable scale but Mr May seems to like it................
