Been selling a few wheels to fund my 20b rebuild, and don't have the money to do the arch work to fit my wide Equip 01s. So pulled these Casablanca's out of the shed, loving how they look.

That'll keep me happy for another while :D

No, the 20B will be staying in the Cosmo. I wouldn't have the heart to gut a Cosmo, rare enough as it is! The MX3 is going well, that will never be sold!

Hi

Love this build! Its definetly how i would like mine to look too... Great inspiration!

Can i ask how the car drives now with the 13b? I suspect mine will need rebuilt in the next year or two and with the 12a being hard to rebuild a 13b might be the only option.

Cheers

If you don't want to keep it, let me know ;) Looks like a good shell!

The FC is cool alright. Unfortunately, it might have to go to pay the hefty 20B rebuild bill :( If ya fancy a roadtrip some weekend, feel free to make your way up here th:

It drives amazing, to be honest. The carb needs a tune as its tuned for a blowthru turbo, but it goes like stink and pops flames, so I can't complain too much :D It still has a real visceral experience of driving an FB on the limit :) When money frees up a bit, the engine is going to go through a small bit of an overhaul, should be interesting!

So is there much of a power/torque difference between them? Definetly keep us updated of any engine builds, lots of photos :)

Out of curiosity what was the rust like underneath?I've got rust on mine and i'm becoming obsessed with other rx's and the rust repairs that are being done...

Final question, what size, width and offset are the wheels. They sit perfectly :)

Again, awsome looking rx ;)

I've no hard figures, but its a very noticeable difference in terms of power and torque. The 12a was on the Nikki carb, so I don't know what it would be like on a Weber.

It was actually one of the better ones I've come across. Needed small bit of welding on the chassis rails, the usual with the sills and arches. Previous owner had fibreglassed under the rear seats where they all go, been meaning to get new steel welded on there. It was rusty around the bootlid as well. Clean as a whistle now tho :)

Wheels are 14x6.5 +4. Surprised how well they sit.

Was up at the Dublin C&C yesterday. A few nice pictures and some decent amount of footage in the video coverage!
