1st gen paint codes

Hi guys,

I've got a pale metallic green, 1985 s3 any idea of the name and paint code?

I've got a couple of bits needing a touch up... Can you even get these paints anywhere now?

Factory colour for UK cars was 'Opal Green'. That's certain. What's not so certain is the colour code. My notes say W1 but it's followed by 'not confirmed'.

Just lift your bonnet please and have a look at the sticker on the underside just above the battery. Please let us know if it says W1 then we can be sure.

Getting paint might not be so easy.......I have to try and colour match in car accessory shops....and my paint (Silver K3)
was an MX5 colour as well.

Had a look and couldnt find any paint codes, possibly its been removed...

I'll go with opel green and try and match it.
