Hello another new member

Post by chrisj »

Hi Folks,
Came across your forum whilst looking for FB rims. So thought I would sign up and introduce myself.
While I was having coilovers fitted to my FC vert at Silver Fern Performance. I asked the owner Dwayne, what he was doing with the Yellow FB sat in the corner. Cut a long story short. I’m now the proud owner of a series 3 FB in Ferrari yellow. All be it without an engine.
So my long term project has begun. I’m currently intending to turn it into a road legal track car. (It’s already stripped out for track use.)

Hi Chris, welcome.

The inevitable question.....can you give me a reg so that I can get a fix on the car for the Forum register?
PM if you don't want it to appear on air.
Cheers
Codge (Dave).

Hi Dave,

Reg is C840RMY. The previous owner is based in North Wales so I suspect the car is the SORN custom yellow track car under Wales on the location register. Hope this helps

Hi Keith,

I'm putting a 12a back in her. The engine has now been rebuilt with the benefit of a half bridge port. The engine is currently being installed back in the car and should be ready for here first run next week.

Many thanks for that.
