Your alternator is the best serie 5 in UK.

I am missing the shiny pulley. Is it polished alloy or chromed steel.

Why not ? Easy to change to twin belt later. The question is: what sound you prefer. The FD alternator bearing should be strong enough for the gilmer i think

Some shiny 12A oil metering pump picture chromed after polishing in the 90ties shows not so bad after this long time i think

5 m long so you can put your Rx7 FB inside for perfect cleaning. Works good as you know Dave.
