Hello from the United Kingdom
Hello!
My name is Chris i'm 26 from Norfolk in the UK. Currently drive a Supercharged MX5 with some OTT aero.
There's a possibility i could be getting an FB,thought i'd sign up to find some info to help. Complete rotary novice, although the FB would be coming from a rotary family (FB,FD and an RX8)

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the Forum, lots of Information & Knowledge about the FB here.
It would be worth reading the post about "What to look for" when buying a 1st Gen:-

Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
Thank you for the link DKWW2000! The engine guide will certainly be of use, although i won't have a clue what i'm looking at lol
The car was purchased in 2012 and i believe it was a non runner. They purchased another car with a good engine that has only covered 58k,but it was having starting issues. Recently a replacement carb has been fitted and it starts, although it does smoke.
He was telling me he poured some oil down the housings,so it might be that which is burning off. The car has only ran for about 10-20mins since 2012

Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
I'm from Norwich and the current owner of the FB is also from Norwich too
Norfolk has some incredible driving roads, particularly the coastal roads
I dread to think how much i've spent on the MX5,all i know is its far too much lol Dont think much is left stock now

The only photo i've got of the RX is this one

Funnily enough, myself and Craig (the current FB owner) run a Facebook Page dedicated to all things Mazda
