I think that picture is a bit old, The seller says he has a spare exhaust which make me think the system on the car has been changed since the picture was taken, so possibly the air pump removed. Ill check for leaks and that anyway, but I will trailer the car as I'm too young for day insurance to drive it back.
Jesse noticed the FPR isn't plumbed in too!

Came across this series I on Car and Classic website - due to be auctioned in March. Is it known to the register?

Yep, looks really nice S1. Strange DVLA doesn't find it since it's MoT'd. The reg number might have been transferred to another car? Who knows.
But hey that's a real find and a new spot Mr Glow Worm. S1's are rare to find these days. For the moment I'm assuming it's near to the auction site at Gaydon.....plus it's a midlands reg.....RA=Nottingham.
And did you all read it guys.....they fitted RACING STRIPES....RED 'UNS TOO.......I told you so!
(I never saw a car win a race in the 1980's without it's stripes....
