you may be able to get them and use them Derek...

As for the FC they are 1.0 pitch
RESpeed in the US do them. Here they are fitted:

Could be wrong. It changed somewhere in the FBs. Maybe I'm thinking of diff splines. Coarse threads fit all "early" Mazda.

Different thread pitches. S2 is coarse and S3 is fine. 1.25 vs 1.0 from memory.
Can someone confirm that? I thought the S1 used 1.25mm pitch but the S2 and S3 both used 1.0mm? Important as one of the jobs on my list is to remake the hard brake lines on the rear (S2) axle of Kimi!
I checked. S2 and S3 are both fine. I was wrong.

^^^Thanks for that confirmation TOOL. I had a lot of issues with getting the correct rear axle oil seals for Kimi, I didn't want to to go through that again with brake parts!

Bringing up an old thread here haha. I recently sent my clutch and brake hoses to Hel directly for them to use as a template so they can add our cars to their website. Got them back a few days later! :o Tool confirmed earlier that series 2 and 3 hoses use the same thread pitch :)

ian65 wrote:I think the front flexibles are different lengths too
But can anybody confirm this at all? I was wondering if I can let Hel know they will fit both series of cars. Or are series 2 hoses way off in terms of length? I assume the clutch hose will be the same length/pitch? :? Then I'll let them know and ask when they will be available on the website as I already know a few people who want a set

Fantastic Jesse - I'd be up for a set (or two) if they fit the S2.

I suspect they're exactly the same.

Check the part numbers are the same between S2 and S3.

And is that brake, clutch AND 5th brake line to chassis at back?

First time I've seen anyone produce a full set!

Good point.. Rookie mistake by me ha. Part numbers are the same for rears and clutch. But different for the fronts. GA02-43-980 (S2) vs FA66-43-980A (S3).

I found a picture of Rexanne's series 2 hoses when Steve brought them. Look about the same length to me?
