Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
I didn't want to post the link incase it was against forum rules. But the page is called Mazda-Bate https://www.facebook.com/mazdabate101/
I had a feeling Craig would be on here, but at first there wasn't a search function for me to check. Craig will be speaking to me tomorrow (Thursday) about the car and whats happening with it i.e if he's selling it etc

Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
If i got the car,it would be a minor resto project (long term). Would love a full strip down and re-build,but the other half is hounding me to start saving for a Mortgage and that (unfortunately) is the main priority.
It was last MOT'd in 2012 so will put it through an MOT to see what work needs doing and go from there. Apart from that, will re-fit an interior and swap the diff. Until i see the car,its difficult to know what does and doesn't need doing

Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
A little update
Craig has decided to remove the engine so he can learn how to rebuild it and he was going to scrap the shell.
I've asked him to let me know once the engine has been removed and i'll have the rolling shell off him.

Re: Hello from the United Kingdom
Sadly this is a good bye from me
Craig scrapped the shell and didn't give me a chance to collect it so that idea is now out of the window. I may still get one in the future, who knows
I've got a good condition Haynes manual available if anyone wishes to have it for the cost of postage
