Front brake hose

Post by Marc S »

Hi guys,

Looking for a front brake hose, as I have an advisory on the MoT, and I don't want to leave it to get worse. Brakes are important, even I know that :)

I can see two listed, with different threads (M10 x 1 or M10 x 1.25)

Does anyone know which one I need for Vyv...or any pointers for where to get a good one! I'm happy to stick with the standard rubber ones, I don't need braided fancy pants ones, Karissa doesn't let me drive fast enough to need them

be careful what you buy marc... some of the cheapos will fit each end ( onto the hard line and the caliper) but won't clip onto the bracket half way along

Here we go again.

You need M10 x 1.0mm aka metric fine.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Thanks guys :)

Looks like I should have spent a bit more time searching and less typing...sorry about that, not really done forum stuff for ages, forgot the basic 'search before you ask'!!!

Great info, and a proper pic too, cheers for that...I'll try to order from Mazda, been burned with ebay bits too many times now, I really should know better by now :?
