How you tensioned the second belt on the waterpump pulley without the airpump then Dave?

Hey,

So i may have misunderstood but I have no thermal reactor and no air pump on my FB. However, I still have one vacuum hose going from my air box to the rats nest.

I am at work so I don't have any better photos to hand, but later on tonight I can get some.

I cant remember off the top of my head what it does, but it may pay to check that you still have it connected (i highlighted it with a red mark):

The hose is for the idle compensator, so may explain your issue if it is not connected:

No, you don't have to have a rats nest.

Maybe someone who has theirs removed can weigh in on this?

Rats nest not required for UK. It exists for the functionality of the emissions system. That includes the idle compensator device which I believe is altitude related. The hose is for the idle compensator, so may explain your issue if it is not connected:

The idle compensator is activated by vacuum and a solenoid. If the hose is unconnected, then it's a vacuum leak.
