My initial plan was to simply rebuild the 12A in my RX7 which had low compression but after tearing it down I found the usual problems with rotor housings that had such bad chrome flaking that they were no use at all. After a long process of research and investigation I eventually sourced two good housings (thanks Pete!) but along the way came up with a few ideas I wanted to try. Ultimately I have designed the parts and have started manufacture of a four rotor engine but I'm also working at various options for rotor housings seeing as they are so hard to come by.
