Looks good bro! What's the plans for the FB?
I'd be interested to see an update on the FD also.

Re: C147TMX
Just needs some love, dude. Need to properly waxoyl the sills as I haven't had a chance to do it since the welding. There's a few leaks need fixing, I'll have to get the manifolds off to do the coreplug mod in the carb passageways. And while it's off maybe tap the waterpump housing out to take a better fan switch as at the moment once the fan comes on it never gets cold enough for it to switch off again. And then maybe the fuel tank... and ... and...
Might be another year, after all
I'll pop up an update on the FD in my Stable Mates thread then. Ready for a looooooooooong read?

Re: C147TMX
No, it's the stupid size boss Mazda put on the housing. It's M16, which almost no-one seems to use for solid-state fan switches; most are either 22 or 14 mm. The only ones you can find are for quads which switch at 65 degrees. Or Nissan Micras, which is what I have. It switches on at 89 on but off at about 75 (seems Micras don't have such energetic cooling systems as RX-7s, who knew). Show me a fan that can cool an RX-7 to 75 degrees and I'll show you a horse flymyatt1972 wrote:Sounds more like you need a better fan ?Lucky wrote: And while it's off maybe tap the waterpump housing out to take a better fan switch as at the moment once the fan comes on it never gets cold enough for it to switch off again.

Re: Lucky's Series 3
Remember the grief over TMX before Nik got it? A chap just about trying to sell it for a profit - but he boasted about it before he'd bought it!
