Re: DIRENZA - FB Lowering Springs
That's interesting.
I'm not that fussed about lowering, we all understand that new lowered springs ride height doesn't vary much with new 'lower' springs.
I'd be interested to know how the ride and handling compare with (old) standard springs ?
Cheers

Re: DIRENZA - FB Lowering Springs
I think Dave might be running them?
I know it is "comparing apples with pears" but i have used Direnza in another of my cars and thought it a vast improvement of the twenty year old springs.

Re: DIRENZA - FB Lowering Springs
I'm running TA Technix springs. They are reasonable for the track but I find them a little stiff for the road. Not very forgiving on undulating surfaces and very skittish cornering on anything less than smooth. A huge improvement over standard in terms of body roll though. And they are red which, as we know, is a performance benefit in itself.

Re: DIRENZA - FB Lowering Springs
I'm looking for some rear springs made to a spec rating.
I'm planning to ditch the Gaz coil overs on the rear of the rally car and go with a more conventional Bilstein and separate spring set up. Also thinking of ditching the RB rear anti roll bar.

Not just yet, I'll try both set ups and see what works best.gt_james wrote:You interested in selling those items?
I'll be sure to give forum members first refusal though if I do decide to sell em.
