So after two and a half months the Mazda main dealer have finally got my gaskets and injector seals in for me.... I bet it wouldn't have taken that long if the car was stripped down in their workshop blocking a bay
Another 60 quids worth of miscellaneous bits of paper and rubber.... the type of things you don't think about when planning a project but which soon add up.
Anyway it means that at long long last I can finish building the TII engine back up... about time too.

I doubt it in this car.... it's still running like a bag of shit and is undriveable
could be compression its an old lump after all.
Pug then
I reckon it's ignition.... the last time I had a car running like this was my old black RX7.... that was the leading coil but I've already changed it on this

no but some useless Wonka had connected the leading HT leads back to front
just put 15 miles on it to shake it down... running great.... doesn't half fly when it's up on the boost... there's nothing wrong with this engine
I think there might be a slight weep from the water pump but that's a doddle of a fix...... I'll put some miles on it over the next week or two to make sure it's ok for the RRG....... things are looking up for a change.
