Nearly done folks.

Next up we have the 'Merican section of this series. Proving that big is beautiful.

Kind of like a Charger but bigger, and with higher spec.
Image

A shame that pictures cannot have sound (oh wait yes they can, it's called video). This thing sounded like thunder, it was glorious. And menacing, imagine this looming large in your rear view mirror.
Image

Patina - tick. Hood vents - tick. Sexual advice - tick.
Image

This thing was dusted off for this outing - literally. You could see the swipe marks in the dust.
Image

Maroon exterior, vinyl roof, brocade interior, vast dimensions. Reminds me of my first car. Which also shared the Brougham name.
Image

A really loooong roof.
Image

Awe a cute doggie
Image

Does not get much cooler that a bird made of fire painted on your bonnet. Question - Why do american cars get away with wearing non UK standard number plates?
Image

And another one added to the list of "cars I would like to own".

Next up the British section.

And here we have it folks the "Best of British" - well not really, it is just a sample of what caught my eye.
I am sure there were some interesting minis there but you can only look at so many before you get fatigue.

This is a first for me. Now I knew they did a Mk3 2 door, but I did not know that they carried it on into the Mk5 (i was corrected after saying it was a Mk4, I do not know the difference)
Image

This was in fantastic condition, and that rear 3/4 view - mmmmm phat

Morris Marina Coupe. Well it turned up, so points there. My father owned one of these, it was orange. He had it about a week before he returned it to the dealer and came home with a Vauxhall Viva HC.
Image

Slightly modded Cortina.
Image

Woody. How quaint. Hmmm it is sporting some thick tread there. What's that badge on the rear door?
Image

Holy crap. I do not think I would like a ride in this.
Image

Ah the Vauxhall Viva HC. Fond memories of these. This one had a lovely patina, lowered, on fat tyres, and a side exit exhaust. Sticker says it all too.
Image

Image

Oooh a Sunbeam, I am surprised that any survived. Whilst I find the styling awkward (I'm being polite) it did have.... well there was the......yes that is it, i remember my mates one had an overdrive switch on the top of the gearknob.
Image

A long roof Mexico. Unique.
Image

And I have saved the best for last

Image

This is a Ford Escort estate underneath. With plenty of mods including an attempt to replicate the droopsnoot front made famous by Wayne Cherry at Vauxhall.
The best part was the disclaimer notice in the window that said he knew that it was not to everyones taste, BUT it was an example of modifying that was very popular at the time. It had been locked away for 20 odd years and recently recomissioned.

So that is it folks. Hopefully this will encourage some of you to visit next year. It really was a good show.
