Rear wiper motor cover removal. Advice please

I'm going to swap my hatch glass as my spare is in much better condition.

Does anyone know how to remove the black plastic cover from the wiper motor? The Haynes manual is very helpful .... remove wiper arm, remove cover, unplug connector etc.

The accepted manly way would be to attempt prising it in several directions until something snaps. I'm not sure how it is secured on there. Has anyone done it before?

Just pull it off from memory. just clips on.

Get a screw driver in there for leverage.

Just be careful not to break off the lugs, the cover falls off afterwards otherwise.

I tried taking mine off once but failed . Quite fiddly I found as I didn't want to break it hahah

This might help. Pic of removed cover showing two (pairs) of four clips, located about 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way down each long side. I used a "trim tool" with a right angle bend to slide under the cover near these points and pulled. They are quite tight, but you'll get a satisfying "click" when they disengage.
