Mud Flaps

Post by DB RX63 »

Hi Fella's,

I'm in need of a bit of help.

I need to make the mud flaps for the rally car and need some dimensions to save me getting the whole thing off axle stands and then having to jack it all up again.

So what I need is a measurement of the distance (in millimetres please) between the ground and the lowest point of the rear of the front wing and the rear of the rear wheel arch.

A standard non-lowered car would be fine.

Front:

Rear:

All help gratefully received.

The car is coming together now and will soon be going to WGT for the custom exhaust and commissioning, watch this space............

I measure 210mm front (less 10mm where longitudinal chassis seam projects below wing if you need that).

Rear is 260mm....towing eye is not less than this clearance

Hope that helps.

It's getting there:

Not much more to do before it goes off to the professor, Mr Gardner for an exhaust and commissioning.
