Hello All,
Thank you for the add. My family is the original owner of a 1984 RX7 GS and I recently purchased a 1982 GSL. My mom bought the '84 brand new and used it as a daily driver, even in the winter! That only lasted one season though before my dad recommended to use it strictly as a summer car! Unfortunately, the '84 is an automatic. It's still a blast to drive, but I had to pick up a manual to truly experience the 12A! The '82 runs healthy and is in great shape, just 58k miles and no rust. I have a few interior plastic parts to replace, including the dome light cover and rear windshield wiper covering, but my biggest issue is the power antenna. At some point during the cars life, the antenna was snapped off while it was up. The motor is still in place, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it, or if I have to, replace the whole unit as opposed to just the antenna. Also, I'm having trouble tracking down an antenna! Does anyone have any leads? Much appreciated.
I'll work on getting pictures to post as other members seem to request them!
Best,

Re: Hello from Wisconsin
Hi Bog, Welcome.
When I had a broken aerial some years ago I got a full Mazda one for ease and authenticity.
It was hell of a price as I recall.
On the Forum we use your Rock Auto and other US part suppliers a lot. Have you tried them?

Hello! Sorry for the wait in pictures. Below, if I was able to figure out Photobucket, are pictures of the 1982 RX7 GSL. I'll still work on pictures of the 1984 GS. Loving the 1982 so far, I currently have the whole tail light out as I am putting in a new antenna. After that, new brake pads and rotors and I already had the air conditioning flushed and converted to R134. There should be 11 photos below.

@codge Thank you! A friend and I spent a whole day just cleaning and detailing under the hood. I'm very happy with how it turned out, now I just have to maintain the cleanliness!

Re: Hello from Wisconsin
Wow, that looks a super tidy example you have there!
And in the best colour IMHO.
