Unfortunately they are quite prone to cracking, mainly due to the force that placed on the bosses when removing the banjo bolts. If they crack again, I strongly recommend looking into an FC oil cooler. These having the fitting top and side to prevent this from occurring.

4AWG wire usually has a current carrying limit of 60 to 100A (depending on who you believe). While that is generally OK during normal engine running, current draw can spike well above that during cranking (200 to 250A). Also, the fact that the wire is several metres long means you can experience voltage drop from the alternator even across 4 gauge. If you have an EFI system with fuel pumps, multiple injectors and a thermofan, you could easily exceed 60A under some conditions, which would push 4ga to its limit.
For these reasons, for the main battery positive cable, I was recommended to use 70mm stick welding cable or 00 automotive cable with a 250A breaker. After my 4ga starter wire melted, I upgraded from 4ga to this stuff, using a plated pass-through terminal on the chassis floor, and it was a million times better. 4ga wire is really only for big stereo amplifiers IMO.
Was having issues getting the pump to prime to 45psi without 5-6 key turns... after getting a huge puddle at the back under the tank it was time to drop the tank again...The main line out of the tank was a little short and wasnt tightening down enough.. so I replaced it with a new hose, first turn of the key it pegged the regulator.. whoops.. adjusted and now 1 key turn it primes to 45 psi every time... 1 problem fixed..
I also have a persistent oil leak... seemed to be from the pedestal.. upon inspection in the car it looked like maybe the pedestal was cracked... so I removed it and went over it.. it wasnt.. so Ive cleaned it, fixed all the fittings etc... tonight after work Ill give it a fire up and see if it still leaks...
Step by step.. typically 2 forward 5 backwards... but it is getting closer

thank you for your kind words.. it really is exciting.. you go thru all this and the frustrations hit due to lack of progress.. then wham something happens and you see the possibilities.. then bam a few steps back then woo hoo excitement again.. haha
I have been chattign back and forth with a guy known as Kevinbtz on the forums https://www.youtube.com/user/kevinbtz... just sent him my base map that came with and hopefully he is going to do me some tweaks to make it run and ready to actually drive... then once I put some miles on (not sure of how many miles on the motor - was sold as a recent build) then wind it up hahah
My daughter who I promised to get the first ride as she has busted hump helping me peer pressured me to take it for a little test drive... then of course she peer pressured me into driving it...
but alas my guy who is helping me tune it gave me a hard time (which I deserved) for driving it... like a baby in a boobie bar... to excited...
