Fuellines , fuelpump need to be E10 compatible. Omp linkage shimmed a little. Getting more oil for the apex seals.

I read somewhere that Premix will negate a lot of the effects? Cannot remember where, I guess time will tell. Note to Self:- Add fuel hose & pump to the ever growing spares box x 2

Re: E10 fuel in our rotarys...
I thought I made a post on here already, but like thomas said, fuel lines, pumps, seals, filters etc need to be e10 compatible. If using original old stock fuel system parts then its a fire risk. More and more classic cars each year have fires attributed to E5, E10 will worsen this.
Also not all premixes like ethanol! Plus Ethanol will make our return even less MPG.

That's why i am was gone with rotary aviation and inject the 2 stroke racing oil for the apex seals. BTW the OEM fuelfilter working since 30 000 km with E10.
No Problem. I put a second one (aftermarket) in the nikki fuel inlet line. The filter let you show what shit can be in the fuel.
Attention: the very old E 10 let your engine fire up more difficult. I would say if the E 10 will stay more then 4 month you can get in that trouble. You also have to control the fuelmix screw on your nikki a very little cause it lean out the mixture. One the moment the price for E10 and E 5 changed in germany to a same level so i take the E5 now. Smog test result was 2,33% CO at 1630 U/ min. Very lean for the BP. Max is 3,5 % CO for pass the test. The HC results you diidn't want to now

If you don't want a SOHN adapter or whatever its called, There are good quality premixes that will work with alcohol and not separate. Motul Micro 2T is excellent, and works with alcohol, Andy Duffin uses it in his race cars with E85, not sure it works as well with less alcohol like E10.
I use EXOL Optima, I will look at it's compatibility with E10.

Good find James (MOTUL Micro 2T).
I never heard about EXOL Optima, just read this in Amazon:
I was using silcoleen pro race 2 but it become very expensive @ 13-ltr. I've used rock oil and all the usual fully synthetic 2T oils in my tuned TS225 lambretta. Red lines at 10.000rpm (standard GP200 red lines @ 6.500rpm) so my 2T oil has to be good. My TS isn't nacasil coated iE had it steel lined as I'm old school and don't trust coated alloy in small cc singles with no air filter and doesn't have fuel injection or ECU meters. I run slightly rich. Verdict= as good as any 2T I've used. No plug fowling. Nice colour on hot plug chop. Piston crown wasn't caked in carbon after 2K miles of short journeys. Rings were not sticky and exhaust port was spotlessly clean. The carb= no gumming up of jets which can be a huge problem with pre-mix 2T causing the rich/lean mix being out of Cantor. The slide had film of oil but no sticking. Oil mixes well with petrol 5% ethanol BP premium which scooter usually runs on. All in all a good oil that gives good results and smells great out the exhaust.
I'd recommend this oil for high rev small steel lined 2T engines. Full on race spec engines need something better. But for generally touring/vomiting/rallying this oil does the job nicely and saves you a few pound compared to some better known oils.. Rock oil £12 - £16 ltr . pro race 2 £15 ltr motul £16 ltr so over a year the saving will be noticeable. Hope this rebue helps you decide..I give it a score of 8-10. Pro race 2 is 9-10 I didn't give it 5* because I haven't used enough of it to be 100% sure about it. . I ride pretty quickly (for a lambretta) 50-60 and up to 70+mph on a shopping scooter !
Tested more then 2 Liter the cheap 2T oil for snowmobile. I like the smell of the exhaust gases nearly the same as the old Castrol RS.
