Well finally ... the springs arrived! UPS, despite having detailed imstructions on the correct entrance to our building and all phrased in a monosyllabic fashion, STILL managed to fcuk it up!

Anyway, there's no fancy installation pics yet so here's a shot comparing RB and stock springs. No point in giving measurements at this stage because free length vs fitted length needs vehicle weight and spring resistance in the equation. Having said that, James Ford could probably work it out on the back of a fag packet

The stance seems different even though the ride height (2 fingers between tyre & arch) remain the same :?:

Two fingers is the universal standard tire / arch gap I believe

I think the stance looks different as well Pete. Need some more pics to compare really.

Pete, good work as always and good to know they went in ok. How were the old spring rubbers and would you advise changing them anyway ?

They had both gone hard & stated to split all around the inner part, made the rear suspension a lot quieter, only place I could find them was Phils Rotary in Aus:-

Felt a lot stiffer & sure footed, even the steering felt lighter?.....did not go too far, did not feel hard. but all 4 corners felt well planted, less wandering & sounded quieter (or it might be me just trying to justify the expense). I will have to find a good reason to take her across the Moors as that will be the true test. It does not seem bounce as much yet the ride did not feel hard. The KYB Shocks & inserts are only a couple of years old & seem a good match. I replaced all the rubber parts with new & new Strut mounts,

My progressive eibach spring lowered the car after about 5000 miles. OEM spring working linear i am not sure how the RB spring do the job.
