I'll wait for an idea of pricing, but I could also be tempted by the arches.

Guys, update here finally. I have not forgotten!!!!

I have been trying to get in contact with Steve, who said he would make the sills. This is only via ebay and after 4 messages I have had no luck getting back in contact.

Does anyone know him via anything but ebay?

Obviously I thought the larger order and lure of a bigger sale would have helped the speed of these getting made but its not meant too be (so far).

Hopefully he may still contact me or reply to a msg I have sent but at the moment, it seems a dead end.

Thoughts?

I contacted Steve earlier this year by text before the discussion of a group buy arose, no response so that's why I jumped into this thread.
Happy enough to send his number through but not sure it'll help at this stage?

That's the guy.
I need do some more cutting but I suspect I'll need 2x sills and at least 1 rear arch.
Just messaged him and he replied. I guess he's got little interest in the work these days...

Hello all,

After many emails, ebay messages and now phone calls, I finally (thanks Guru), spoke with the sill maker, Steve. Good news is he is a real person, bad news is he no longer makes or has the tooling to make new sills so we are all back where we started.

So anyone here or see anything regarding sills, please post on here as I would still love a sill (or two)!

Keep on search'n!

Well that's bad news, does sound like he just doesn't want the work because he never mentioned the tooling earlier this year, only Covid.

Thanks for making the effort anyway Dean.

He was thinking about retiring last time I spoke to him and that was about 6 yrs ago so he’s probably decided to take it easy
