given the age of the car that doesn't look too bad at all really.
Are you going to leave it as a left hooker or take the op to swap to RHD?
I suppose after all this time you're used to sitting on the wrong side! -haha-

Yeah I’m pleased with the outcome, I always knew she’d had a bad paint job sometime in the past so I feel fortunate that it wasn’t hiding anything horrific. I will keep her left and drive, it doesn’t bother me and everything else I have apart from the family car and work truck are left hookers.

Onto the rotisserie she goes, in a random twist of fate a friend of mine from the vw world has started working where she is and has been assigned her as his first job so nice to know she’s in safe hands even more so than being at Froggys’s who have a good reputation anyway.

Looks like you are getting a proper job done but it must be costing a small fortune.
Looking forward to further developments

Yeah it won’t be particularly cheap but I love this car and want it to last - out of all the crap I own she’d be the last to go if I had to sell it all. I’m lucky in that I bought her when they were worth 2p as well so she doesn’t owe me much at all.
