Thanks Porter ive been to the harage 2day it appears to originally stardust blue but has been resprayed misty blue previously whats confused me is the colour chart on here says for a1983 model misty blue and 1982 is stardust blue i cant see any stickers indicating the original colour and i am wanting 2 keep.the car original if you see this am i right that your car is 1983 stardust blue is that the original colour thanks adrian

Hi Adrian,
Mine was manufactured December 82 and registered April 83.
Currently in Stardust, but I think it may have originally been Misty blue.
I prefer it Stardust so I’m keeping it as is lol.

Hi steve thanks for the info i much prefer stardust to and ive made my mind up and stardust it is also the same colour as my first rx7 1 bought in 1986 it was the nuts back then and i was 21 years old loved them ever since then really excited now as being painted this week

Mine is June 1982 and is almost total original paint. Stardust blue is a great colour

Hi yes i think so too.Ive been trying to find out a bit more history about the car.lby403y. I know from the guy i bought it from in gloucester that its a uk car that had been in France for many years and has been repatriated.The only info i can find on here is written by dave.Aparently yvette banesgas owned it at one time and thats who took it to France. a guy nearly bought it from her from Italy or spain but on seeing it unable to drive it home as issues with brakes he drove 1500kms to see it any info wold be brill.
