I just had a quick look on Rock Auto & compared the FC CENTRIC Part Nos & the BECK & ARNLEY Part Nos..............for the same FB Items & they are not the same.

“Apparently” the S4 NA Manual starter motor is a straight swap and significant upgrade to the S3 Manual Starter motor. Anyone have any experience with this ?

That wouldn't surprise me aye bro. I don't know about the power difference. But I think a far more beneficial thing would be to get all new 70mm2 battery cables and clean up all the connections on the body/starter aye

I'll have to go through my parts, but I think the S4 UK spec is the same starter as s3. The US spec S4 starter is a gear reduction starter, and can be upgraded to a more powerful motor.
