Re: Tail trim piece
Yea as much as it’s a nice to have.. iv got other bits I wanna buy for it that are more important
That being said. Iv found an online shop from Japan that reckon they have some… the translation was somewhat confusing so I have emailed them to ask for clarification of if they have it in stock, how many they have and how much it would be to send to the UK.
If they have a few then I don’t mind grabbing some extras for people on here and just selling them on at cost .. will update soon!

Re: Tail trim piece
Hey all and Merry Christmas!
Had no luck with the Japanese shop for these.. I did however see a guy advertising a fibreglass copy that supposedly is more resistant to warping in the sun than the OEM part.. iv bought one (£118) from eBay… his store has great reviews so iv taken the chance and will see what it’s like when it turns up.
It doesn’t come with any weather strips it seems but that’s easily sorted

Re: Tail trim piece
Hi Vic,
Interested to see what it’s like, as I thought about getting a mould from my spare rear lamps, then seeing if I could knock one up from fibreglass.

Re: Tail trim piece
Hi chaps. Received it today.
It seems pretty sturdy and straight .. it needs a bit of finishing but that’s to be expected with fibreglass moulds anyways. Il be painting it gloss/satin black anyways so would have given it a light sand regardless
Here’s some pics

Re: Tail trim piece
Definitely doesn't have that OEM finish aye. But still looks a decent replica for the price to me!

Re: Tail trim piece
Update!
Don’t bother.. it’s about 5mm short either side and isn’t square.. looks terrible
Gonna keep an eye out for an original when I go over to the US for my wedding
