I'll post some pics of the underside when I get it home.

Sills are solid, and the quarter panels just above the sills, behind the doors, are solid too. The chassis rails are clean and there's no rot under the bonnet, even where the steering arms bolt on. Even the pick up points for the rear link arms are solid. The floors all there, and there's no rust at all on the winscreen pillars or where the quarter lights fit. Another advantage of having the glass out.

I'm quite experienced with rust from my series 1, as these were all the bits that disappeared. ;)

Welcome to the Forum. What an amazing find!!! Just goes to show, once you've been bitten by the rotary bug, the love never dies V(o I think this could be the rotary version of Christine :lol:
